Apartments in the Po Delta

Having crossed Italy from West to East and before entering the Adriatic Sea, the Po river fans out in a splendid delta, source of the youngest land of our country where the spirit of adventure and of research can still meet in a magic encounter.
The Centro Airone (Airone = Heron) is a little tourist complex, 3 km from the mouth of the Po in the enchanting setting of the Po Delta Park which is the ideal destination for all lovers of a holiday in a natural environment.

Opened the whole year round, Centro Airone consists of comfortable residential units in a park with direct access to the swimming pool and the private open air parking lot. For the guests there are many opportunities of excursions along attractive itineraries which can be covered on foot or by boat, or bike or on horseback.



The Centro Airone offers its guests:

• Restaurant in the Residence compound, which is also ideally suited for special events
• Private swimming pool
• Boat moorings close to the tourist village for guests who come here with own boat
• Information facilities for excursions around the Po Delta (by boat, bike or horse) – Naturalistic guides on request
• At 3 kilometers: Porto Levante sea-side - access by boat-navette.
• An 18 hole golf course in the nearby Isola di Albarella (at about 15’ by car)
• Adria International Raceway at about 16 km

All the residential units available for rent are furnished and provided with private bathroom, kitchenette, TV, fireplace, terrace and independent heating and air conditioning - The units consist of the following accommodation:

TYPE A Salice
Studio apartment 2+ 2 , entrance with bunk-bed, dining room with divan or double bed

TYPE B Glicine
1) Two Rooms / mezzanine 2+ 2, lunge with divan bed and double bedroom in the mezzanine floor
2) Two Rooms apartments 2+ 2, lunge with divan bed and separated double bedroom

TYPE C Leccio
1) Two Rooms / mezzanine floor - entrance with bunk bed, separated lunge with double divan-bed, double bedroom in the mezzanine floor with single sofa-bed;
2) Three Rooms apartment furnished in a very good taste with beautiful view to the park with separated kitchen well equipped (electric oven-freezer), large and very comfortable living room with table and separated area with 2 single divan-beds, double bedroom on the mezzanine floor

SPECIAL HOLIDAYS
Holidays on bikes: for the ones who would like to discover the Po Delta by bicycle, we offer a weekly programme along different itineraries to exploring banks, canals, fish valleys, lagoons.
Birdwatching holidays: the Po river Delta is the best bird-watching site for water-birds in Italy. We offer a 7 days stay, including 6 full day excursions, guidance from a professional local guide, transport and accommodation. (small groups only: min 10 pax – max 14)
“Green holidays”: for those who would like to dedicate to open-air activities and combine excursions by boat, by bicycle, trekking and visits to the most important historical-artistic sites.
Special programmes and arrangements are available for groups of adults or schools.
