Arrival of the participants to Pavia and meeting with our English Speaking Tourist Guide. The city is characterized by a Roman city scheme, almost unaltered along the centuries, organised as a “scacchiera” (chess board) of districts where the ancient “foro”, centre of the politic, social and commercial life, was built at the crossing of the main streets (the Roman Cardo and Decumano). To do not be missed are: the Duomo, the Basilica of San Michele and the Visconteo Castle. In the afternoon free time for lunch, relax and transfer by coach to the Lake Maggiore. In the evening transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

2nd day: Villa Taranto
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our English Speaking Tourist Guide (on request) and transfer to Villa Taranto, located in Pallanza, to admire its famous Botanic Gardens. After that, transfer to a typical restaurant for lunch (on request) and free time at disposal. In the afternoon excursion on the top of the Mottarone by cableway from where the eyes can see as far as Milan and Varese. In the evening transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

3rd day: Borromea and Stresa Islands
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our English Speaking Tourist Guide (on request) and transfer to the embark meeting point for a full day excursion by motor boat of the Borromea and Stresa Islands.
Sightseeing:
Isola Bella “Beautiful Island”: in the 1632 Lord Vitaliano Borromeo began the construction of the monumental Baroque palace and of the majestic scenography of the gardens which helped the island became so famous.
Isola Madre “Mother Island”: the biggest of the Borromeo Islands is also the most charming thanks to the quite, enchant and silent atmosphere. A gorgeous garden made by rare plants, exotics flowers, peacocks, parrots and pheasants give to the place a tropical atmosphere.
Isola dei Pescatori “Fishermen Island”.
In the afternoon lunch in typical restaurant (on request) and free time for relax, shopping and transfer to Stresa, the most tourist town around the lake. It is an international tourist centre located in a panoramic and picturesque position, just in front of the Boromee Islands. The town became famous in the middle of the XIX century thanks to the English tourists who favourite liberty style hotels and villas. In the evening transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

4th day: Lake Como and Lake Garda
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our English Speaking Tourist Guide (on request) and transfer to Como.
Sightseeing to do not be missed are the medieval complex built by Broletto, the Duomo and the Council Tower.
In the afternoon lunch in typical restaurant (on request) and free time for relax, shopping and transfer to Lecco for the city visit: the place is rich of literals memories like the Manzoni novel, in fact suggested is a picturesque walk through the Promessi Sposi paths. The itinerary starts from the Pescarenico district, south side of the town, through the ruins of the Fra’ Cristoforo Convent and the churches of Saints Materno and Lucia passing though the “Trinity” by Cerano painter and finishing in the north side of Olate district, birth place of Lucia and of its marriage, to Acquate. Visited are also House of Manzoni and a few other places of the world wide famous novel. At the end continuation to Lake Garda and arrival to the hotel forecast in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

5th day: Salò, Gardone and Sirmione
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our English Speaking Tourist Guide (on request) and full day dedicated to the towns visit. To be visited are the Duomo, the Nastro Azzurro Museum, the Vittoriale of Gardone (last residence of D’Annunzio), Sirmione, the “Pearl of Garda”, and its thermal resorts. In the evening transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

6th day: Riva del Garda
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our English Speaking Tourist Guide (on request) and departure to the motor boat excursion from Salò to Riva del Garda inclusive of lunch on board. During the navigation picturesque are the “limonaie” (lemon tree fields) along side the coast and the characteristic colour of the surrounded mountains. In the evening transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

7th day: Return
After breakfast in the hotel, free time and departure of the customers to the Airport. Since we do not know the Rail or Flight time sheet, we did not plan any excursion in this day but available on request.
