1st day: Vicenza
Arrival of the participants, around 10:00 o’clock, to Vicenza, in the proximity of Villa Capra Valmarana called also “La Rotonda” (entrance with reservation request, internal visit on Wednesday only € 10.00, other days garden visit only € 5.00, close on Monday), masterpiece of Andrea Palladio, located at the main gate of Vicenza; meeting with our Multilanguage Speaking Tourist Guide and visit to the Villa. Then, free time for lunch (not included but organised on request in typical restaurant). In the afternoon, guided tour inside the city of Palladio: the historical city centre, the Teatro Olimpico (entrance with reservation request € 5.00), which was designed by the famous Architect in 1580, Piazza dei Signori, where it’s possible to admire the Palladian Basilica, also known as Palazzo della Ragione (external visit and explanation only); this monument is considered the symbol of Vicenza and it is included in the list of the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In the evening transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

2nd day: Bassano del Grappa
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our Multilanguage Speaking Tourist Guide, organisation on the Coach and transfer to Marostica. On the way, shorts breaks to observe (external view only) a few Villas like Villa Trissino Trettenero (Villa is not open to the public): between 1531 and 1538 Sir Trissino renovate a gothic building already owned by the Valmarana family. According with the legend, during those works, Sir Trissino met the “tajapiera” (stone cutter) Andrea “fiolo de Piero della Gondola” (son of Piero della Gondola) to which he gave the name of Palladio, also described in his Poem. Then Villa Valmarana Bressan (entrance with reservation request, free offer) build up around 1532  by Palladio, according with a painting discovery of the building, in Great Britain. Once in Marostica, visit to the Lower Castle,  build up in the 1320 by Cansignorio della Scala, city’s walls starting point. Free time for lunch (not included but organised on request in typical restaurant). In the afternoon, transfer to Bassano del Grappa, city famous for its bridge called Ponte degli Alpini, built up by Jacopo Da Ponte, and for the precious pottery and Grappa (Italian digestive) production. The centre of the town is very attractive and characterized by a Palladian Wood Bridge, the Castle of the Ezzelini and the Civic Museum. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

3rd day: Poiana Maggiore, Fratta and Rovigo
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our Multilanguage Speaking Tourist Guide, organisation on the Coach and transfer to Poiana Maggiore (entrance with reservation request € 3.00) to visit its Villa: extraordinarily "modern" in its forms and in the lack of any kind of decorative stone  element. Also for this reason this Villa is the “favourite” by generations of architects: inside the villa, there is also a museum of wooden models of factories designed by Palladio. Free time for lunch (not included but organised on request in typical restaurant). In the afternoon transfer to Fratta Polesine to visit the Villa-Temple: Villa Badoer (entrance with reservation request € 3.00). Palladium found, in the ancient Roman temple, forms to be used to characterize the new type of villa. In Villa Badoer the model is emphasized even more: to the usual eardrum with columns is added a structure of terraces connected by steps, typical of Roman acropolis temples.
